Project Overview

Sitework for a 14,000 SF YMCA Expansion & Early Learning Center

This 14,000 SF addition to the YMCA Eastside created space for a new sports performance center, a two-story youth and family gymnasium, and a dedicated spin studio, significantly expanding the facility’s health and wellness offerings.

Delivered in collaboration with LeChase Construction, the project delivered full sitework including expanded parking, a dedicated drop-off loop, upgraded utilities and drainage infrastructure, and new community amenities.

Our Approach

Coordinated Sitework. Seamless Delivery.

WoodStone managed this project from initial site preparation through final infrastructure installation — coordinating every phase of the YMCA Eastside addition including parking improvements, utility upgrades, stormwater management, and community amenity construction.

Site Preparation & Parking

Expanded and reconfigured parking areas and constructed a dedicated drop-off loop to improve traffic flow and accessibility at the existing Eastside YMCA campus.

Utility & Drainage Upgrades

Upgraded underground utilities and drainage infrastructure to support the new 14,000 SF building addition while maintaining service to the existing YMCA facility throughout construction.

Community Amenity Construction

Delivered sitework supporting the new sports performance center, two-story gymnasium, spin studio, and reserved space for future medical use — expanding the YMCA’s health and wellness offerings for the community.

The Challenge

Active Campus. Live Utility Work. Zero Disruption.

Constructing a 14,000 SF building addition on an active YMCA campus demanded exceptional coordination — work had to proceed without disrupting the facility’s daily programming and member access. The project required reconfiguring parking and traffic circulation while upgrading live utilities serving the existing building.

WoodStone’s self-perform model allowed a single coordinated team to sequence and execute every phase of sitework — from parking reconfiguration and utility upgrades to drainage installation and final grading — keeping the project on schedule and the campus operational throughout.
